Shuizhu Niurou

Chinese food as good as it gets : Boiled Beef from Sichuan (水煮牛肉) – very spicy ! When I lived in Beijing I used to eat Sichuan food three times a week (there were two excellent Sichuan restaurants near my office). Real Sichuan food is hard to find outside China and I miss it.

Looks fantastic! Do you know any good Sichuan restaurants in Tokyo?

Still looking unfortunately. Maybe ingredients are hard to find?

Maybe it is too spicy for most Japanese people. Many Chinese restaurants here have adapted to local preference on taste, even those with Chinese chef. To me the most obvious difference of such localized Chinese food is that they are much sweater than supposed to be.
