A Waterfall Too Far

At the end of an interesting drive under the rain, we were supposed to see a 5 stages waterfall with various temples and shrines – which was what kept us going under the rain on such a small road. Unfortunately, what we did not know was that we could not see the waterfall right away: a 30 min climb through the forest and along the river was required. But it had been raining so much that… well the photos speak for themselves:

After 20mn of this, I reached a part where I could not go any further: the rocks were too slippery and considering the raging river on my right, I did not want to risk it :p

So despite spoiling my shoes and socks in the mud (I drove back barefoot), I couldn’t see much of the waterfall. Those are the only glimpses of the raging river I could shoot. And if someone has any doubt, this is a demonstration that the 5D mark II is weather-sealed!
