Japanese Highways

Driving in Japan is quite enjoyable when the roads are not too crowded. Yes, the tolls are expensive – although nowadays, a cap of 1000JPY has been set on most highways on weekends – but the road are usally in good conditions.

If only the speed limit was a little bit higher. On those pictures, the speed limit was either 60 or 80 km/h! Ok, with radar detectors being legal, the speed limit is not that much of a concern as long as you can spot the unmakred police cars ;-)
