So after a peaceful night in the Sheraton and patiently waiting for 6:30 to have our breakfast (jetlag!), we picked up our rental car at Avis. I used to use Europcar quite much but because of the free downgrade they gave me last year (when my pre-booked and prepaid Audi A3 or similar was downgraded for free – read without any money back – to a 206) I now use Avis. Last time they upgraded us to an E Class, this year to a family van: Picasso C4. Not that happy with the upgrade to be honest – I would have much preferred keeping my BMW 1 series but we had to wait at best one hour to get it so we took the “upgrade” (more on that later).

This always reminds me of Seinfeld, a must-see if you haven’t – hilarious and so true !
