Advertising for the Tohoku Shinkansen Hayabusa service. According to JR, on March 5 2011, the new Hayabusa Series E5 Shinkansen trains began service on the Tohoku Shinkansen Line between Tokyo and Shin-Aomori. The Series E5 Shinkansen lead car features a unique extended-nose design, and the train exterior proudly boasts the JR East green and white corporate colors, and a vivid pink stripe to convey a sense of lightening speed. The Series E5 is designed inside and out for better environmental performance and greater comfort, thereby enabling you a quieter and smoother ride. Hayabusa is a fast way to travel between Tokyo and various cities in the Tohoku region.
