For today’s big salad! I like the photo of the farmers on the package. Quite common for fruits and vegetable in my local supermarket. I wonder if people really check the faces before buying: "mmm, doesn’t look like someone who can grow good potatoes"

Chinese food as good as it gets : Boiled Beef from Sichuan (水煮牛肉) – very spicy ! When I lived in Beijing I used to eat Sichuan food three times a week (there were two excellent Sichuan restaurants near my office). Real Sichuan food is hard to find outside China and I miss it.

After the blue and red beer, comes the green one. Better than the red, not sure about the blue anymore… need to refresh my memory ;-)

After the blue beer, I now give you the red one ! Taste-wise, the blue one was better. There’s something a bit too much flowery in that one…

Abashiri beer is the local beer which is made in Abashiri, a city of Okhotsk, Hokkaido. Enjoy the smooth feeling on your throat, crisp and rich of fragrance and flavor!
It is made with water melted from icebergs that float each year onto Hokkaido beaches from the Sea of Okhotsk! A dash of seaweed gives it the cool, icy blueish tint.
And how does it taste like? It’s quite ok I must say :-)
