Just liked the shadows in that shot.
Apparently, some were even more bored than I was in Narita as they decided to tape the parking lot to renew the white lines on the asphalt !
Killing time in Narita while waiting for my guests ! Luckily there is a lot to look at… and yes, she was stunning ! :D
First step of our winter holiday : take a flight for Hokkaido in Haneda. Well-groomed, friendly, polite and efficient staff makes flying definitely less painful !
Bored at Macau Airport…
First sight at the airport !
Arrived safely in Hokkaido :-)
Clearly over-priced when compared to the alternatives in the neighbourhood but considering that it’s the only hotel you can reach without even having to take a shuttle, we somehow always end up spending one night there before picking up a rental car to drive to Normandy.
As promised, some nice photos of the cockpit of an A380, shortly after landing in Paris CDG.
Boarding an A380 from Air France in Paris (AF276) and Tokyo (AF275). No additional hassle despite the large number of passengers. On the contrary, since boarding proceeds in parallel on two decks, it was actually quite fast. Coming next, some photos of the cabin and the cockpit ! :-)
A380 photos coming soon (including some very nice cockpit shots!)… but first have to sort the whole bunch of holiday pictures.
Quite a nice airport. Much nicer than e.g. Chicago or New York when flying to East Coast from Asia.
DL1845 from ATL to JAX.
Seen in Atlanta.
DL280 from Narita (NRT) to Atlanta (ATL). Was actually supposed to leave one day earlier but there was some overbooking. I managed to negotiate the conditions under which I would give up my seat : $400 in cash + upgrade to business :) Flat bed is really nice, you can sleep on your tummy !
Brand new, free WLAN, comfy chairs and – in some areas – extremly close to the taxiway :)
My company always books me economy class seats but I am usually able to stick to Skyteam so that I can enjoy the services that my frequent flyer card allows me to: business class check-in and business class lounge. Unfortunately this time, no other choice but to fly ANA to Beijing. The result was a ...
If only the outside (road, taxis, trains…) could be as nice as the inside! Boarding for NRT (Narita) in 10mn, only had time for a shower at the Air France lounge due to “late incoming aircraft” in Madrid – a sentence way too often heard in airports.
Shower time before (or after) my 12 hours to (or from) Japan :) both refreshing and relaxing!
With no regrets whatsoever. I’m sure it’s a good place for holidays… but it’s a terrible place for a standardisation meeting :(
Nice sunset with beautiful clouds for a turbulent take off from CDG to MAD.
