Our favourite place for lunch in Kawaguchiko. Great food and relaxing atmosphere. If you don’t have a reservation (we never have), make sure to be there slightly before 12:00 as the place fills up quickly !

Commuting in Tokyo
Thought it could be interesting for you to see how it looks like to commute in Tokyo’s metro (slightly after 9:00 to avoid the crowd), so I carried my camera and randomly shot ~300 photos… here are the most interesting ones, enjoy !

Garbage Collection
Burnable: mondays and thursdays. Non-burnable: 2nd and 4th fridays of the month. Plastic: saturdays. Cans, pet bottles, and glass: thursdays (but in limited locations with special baskets). Paper: saturdays. Always start at 8:00 and unfortunately the garbage truck starts on my road so better be on time because 8:05 is always too late!

Excellent chinese restaurant in Kagurazaka. As close as you can get to the real stuff – lived 2 years and a half in Beijing, so I like to think that I can tell ;-)
