A rare find in the underground carpark of Tokyo Midtown : a BMW 2000ti, from the late 60s !
With you all an equally good start of the weekend ! Oh, and this is my very first shot with a lens I’ve been thinking of buying for years… Guess which one – hint, this was shot at f/1.2 ;-)
Our favourite place for lunch in Kawaguchiko. Great food and relaxing atmosphere. If you don’t have a reservation (we never have), make sure to be there slightly before 12:00 as the place fills up quickly !
Alone in a tree under in the rain… poor little fella !
The world’s most famous sites a 1/25th scale : Tobu World Square near Nikko.
Cute little bouquet !
Looks to me that the guy is not pointing his camera in the right direction ;-)
Thought it could be interesting for you to see how it looks like to commute in Tokyo’s metro (slightly after 9:00 to avoid the crowd), so I carried my camera and randomly shot ~300 photos… here are the most interesting ones, enjoy !
Candid shot of a salaryman reading a newspaper in Tokyo’s undeground.
The ceiling of Omotesando Hills in Tokyo.
Sign among the brand new buildings of the Tokyo University of Science in Kagurazaka.
Girls in Shibuya like Pink obviously : pink phone, pink earphone, pink stockings, pink shoes and pink thing popping out of a bag… all in just 20min waiting for my friend !
Very nice bokeh as always with the 135mm/f2.0L !
Finally managed to reduce the original set of 794 photos to 43 for you to enjoy. Please have a look at my HD Gallery !
From food paradise in Tokyo : Kagurazaka, my home :)
Another day off in Japan this week – Cheers ! :D
Miscellaneous booth babes from the 2010 edition of the Tokyo Game Show…
Back from the 2010 edition of the Tokyo Game Show (TGS 2010) with a few hundreds of photos to sort, tag and adjust… To help you wait, here is a small teaser of what awaits you ;-)
Burnable: mondays and thursdays. Non-burnable: 2nd and 4th fridays of the month. Plastic: saturdays. Cans, pet bottles, and glass: thursdays (but in limited locations with special baskets). Paper: saturdays. Always start at 8:00 and unfortunately the garbage truck starts on my road so better be on time because 8:05 is always too late!
Excellent chinese restaurant in Kagurazaka. As close as you can get to the real stuff – lived 2 years and a half in Beijing, so I like to think that I can tell ;-)
Here again, practising shooting moving objects down the street in preparation of something planned for October…
