This former 18th-century post office is now a charming hotel located in one of Bayeux’s oldest quarters, close to the Bayeux Tapestry Museum. My favourite part of the hotel is the lounge, where you can relax by the fireplace, sipping Calvados, while being surrounded by pictures of the celebrities the hotel has welcome over the ...
The Blue Hats from BR31 !
One of the ubiquitous family restaurant in Japan (ファミレス) : Saizeriya. I actually like it, the “Italian” food they serve is simple, not too bad, and amazingly cheap. Only ¥3,000 for all you can see on the pictures, including the wine ! Quite popular for dates too :)
Yom yom, all natural, all delicious ! PS : yes, I’m back to posting pictures from my last summer in France, I need to clear my backlog before travelling there again in July…
Pictures from my last summer vacations in France have been sitting on my computer for so many months that they need to get out. So beware that my coming posts are going to be Normandy related :) First, some “radis”, I love those but unfortunately it’s very difficult to find in Tokyo, and if you ...
Awaiting the dough for the TakoYaki !
Took my wife’s RX1 along for lunch – she inadvertently left it at home ;-) Still very impressed by the results !
After two unsuccessful tries, I finally had a chance to try the recently opened Standing Sushi Bar in Kagurazaka. There are many good restaurants in Kagurazaka but a good and reasonably priced sushiya was missing… till now. This place is good, really good !
We have been there dozens of times so it was about time to shoot a small video. I apologise in advance for the background music : at one point, there’s some Céline Dion !
Great place not too far from Hiroshima. Their grilled chicken is just amazing. It’s a restaurant for mountain bandits, but I’m sure Loeildutako can take you there :)
Another great dinner at Uomaru !
Delicious encounter in Tokyo : a Vacherin ! Imports to Japan were banned till recently – dangerous cheese, you know…
At one of the best Soba restaurant I know in Tokyo…
Real Indian curry in Bangalore. Challenging to eat with your hands but delicious ! Ok, last post on Bangalore, back to Japan for my next posts :)
If you never had a chance, try it : delicious !
Just an espresso, like I like them. But why the sugar, this is rather insulting ! :D
Merry Christmas to you all ! :)
Now reaching year 2010 of my picture cleaning process and found this shot I like a lot of a breakfast in a (the?) Japanese Onsen : Ginzan Onsen Fujiya.
Jogashima is also well known for its harbour, fish market and excellent sea food !
Always a feast at our favourite Ramen place :)
