August is the month for enjoying fireworks or Hanabi (literally Flower of Fire) in Japan. Three Hanabi during this week alone with 38,000 fireworks in total ;-)

Edogawa Hanabi on 1st of August 2009: 1 million people gathered on riverbanks to enjoy the launch of 14,000 fireworks during one hour! Unfortunately I did not bring my camera so I had to go on YouTube to find a video. Took me a while to find a decent one.
