So after a peaceful night in the Sheraton and patiently waiting for 6:30 to have our breakfast (jetlag!), we picked up our rental car at Avis. I used to use Europcar quite much but because of the free downgrade they gave me last year (when my pre-booked and prepaid Audi A3 or similar was downgraded ...
Clearly over-priced when compared to the alternatives in the neighbourhood but considering that it’s the only hotel you can reach without even having to take a shuttle, we somehow always end up spending one night there before picking up a rental car to drive to Normandy.
As promised, some nice photos of the cockpit of an A380, shortly after landing in Paris CDG.
Boarding an A380 from Air France in Paris (AF276) and Tokyo (AF275). No additional hassle despite the large number of passengers. On the contrary, since boarding proceeds in parallel on two decks, it was actually quite fast. Coming next, some photos of the cabin and the cockpit ! :-)
A380 photos coming soon (including some very nice cockpit shots!)… but first have to sort the whole bunch of holiday pictures.
If only the outside (road, taxis, trains…) could be as nice as the inside! Boarding for NRT (Narita) in 10mn, only had time for a shower at the Air France lounge due to “late incoming aircraft” in Madrid – a sentence way too often heard in airports.
Shower time before (or after) my 12 hours to (or from) Japan :) both refreshing and relaxing!
6 visits in 2 months :-(
When you check a baby car in, maybe, just maybe that’s the one thing you expect to quickly come out, especially after a 12 hours flight!
At Roissy CDG
Very refreshing before or after a 12 hours flight.
Long way to home still…
CDG Terminal 2E
Once again but never that early – 04:15 !
Cabin layout, in-flight entertainemnt, weather forecast…
A photogenic place.
Very interesting architecture… too bad I never have time to make proper photos…
